At St. Stephen's, we recognize that the birth or adoption of a child is a time of great importance in one's life.  We invite our friends and neighbors to celebrate their blessed event in our sanctuary.

Our Book of Common Prayer offers a simple service for welcoming a new child into the community.  The service includes a shared reciting of the 23rd Psalm or another biblical song, a prayer for the child and the family, and a prayer of blessing.

We are happy to host your celebration on a Sunday morning of your choosing during our 8:00 or 10:30 a.m. service—a time when there will be many people in the church, young and old, who will share your joy. 

Invite family, friends, neighbors.  Urge them to bring cameras for a photo session after the service.
