The Gift and Book Shop is open on an irregular basis after services on Saturday and Sunday. It is also available for retreats held at St. Stephen's and by appointment. There is a vast array of both religious and secular merchandise available.

One day the Parish Administrator called the Gift Shop treasurer asking if we advertised on the internet!! She had received a call from a woman who said she had found us online. The treasurer called the woman to learn that she was looking for a specific product. The small manufacturer listed our Gift Shop as carrying the product. The woman was looking for prayer cards in a hard plastic pink purse for girls and blue pails for boys. There are also payer boxes for older folks. We made arrangements and the gift shop was opened just for her. The woman was a winter visitor and her daughter lived in the Phoenix area. She purchased all the prayer purses, pails and boxes in stock as well as some other items. Her daughter also found items she could not live without and purchased them. We aim to serve your needs.

We find that the Gift Shop is a ministry. It is a place where browsing is encouraged. For someone who is seeking a little alone time, looking at merchandise is a great solitary activity. We have recently added a used book section.

The proceeds from the Gift Shop have been earmarked for summer camperships for the children of St. Stephen's. The Gift Shop also supports our sister parish, Good Shepherd in Fort Defiance, with meditational literature.
