Patricia Davis
I have been a member of St. Stephen’s for approximately 35 years.  Early on I volunteered to do the parish newsletter –editing, printing, collating, mailing, etc.  The only expertise I had for the job was that I could type.  I have to admit my children helped fold it.  This led to many other opportunities – serving on the vestry, ushering.  I was active in social events – helped start the Christmas Breakfast and  Advent Dinner that is still held each year.   I served as the clerk of the vestry during the fourteen years I worked in the office as the secretary/parish administrator.  I decided it was time to retire and did so late June of 2011.  I will continue to work for St. Stephen’s in whatever capacity is afforded me because I believe in St. Stephen’s, the work and good will that is accomplished here.

David Kaiser
David is an Arizona native, adopted at only a few days old, and delivered to his parents at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church. That day was his first day of church at St. Stephen’s. David has watched our church learn and grow together for 28 years, of which included the past rector changes, and the trials and tribulations associated with the tough time we are currently facing. David has always considered the St. Stephen’s family as one that has helped raise him and teach him about the joy of family, life, nature, and God. St. Stephen’s is David's church, his family, his friends, and his home. David  will listen to your thoughts and ideas and and is committed to helping to keep St. Stephen’s a place where families and friends to grow together.

Christy Alarcon
Dr. Christy M. Alarcon is a cradle Episcopalian (her father is an ordained Episcopal priest and serves in the Episcopal Diocese of Hawaii) who moved to Arizona in 2004 to pursue her doctorate in Educational Technology. She now works at Maricopa Community Colleges as the Instructional Technologist with the Maricopa Center for Learning Instruction. In her spare time, she often travels to her first home, Hawaii, to visit her parents, family and friends, whom she misses on a daily basis. She also has a 5 year old teacup Maltese named Lucky who keeps her company here in Arizona and enjoys training for marathons and kickboxing.

Sue Grace
Sue and her husband Vic discovered St. Stephen's in May 2009 after her daughter Irene made a request that Sue to begin attending church services. Sue had been raised Roman Catholic but had drifted away. Sue and Vic are members of the choir, participate in Habitat for Humanity home-building projects, and often enjoy the Heretics Book club that meets Saturdays for lively discussions over coffee. Sue has spent the last 20 years working and advocating for individuals with behavioral health needs. She served in both the Arizona House of Representatives and the Arizona State Senate. Currently Sue is the Crisis System Coordinator for Magellan Health Services where she tracks and analyzes the information about the quality and types of services people are receiving and offers assistance to service providers. Sue's focus on the Vestry is outreach.

In her spare time, Kathleen enjoys reading, traveling, beach-bumming, bicycling, and chasing after 3 grandchildren and 2 small (very spoiled) dogs.  After retiring from the corporate world after a quarter century as a Human Resources Director in several Fortune 500 companies, Kathleen founded an HR consulting firm, HR Pros LLC.  She holds an MBA from Texas Tech, and formerly was a high school teacher.
